Bentley Motors has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Bentley Batur Convertible. Crafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s renowned in-house customization division, this convertible beauty boasts the most potent iteration of the famed 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo engine.

A marvel of engineering that has significantly contributed to Bentley’s success over the past two decades, the production of this iconic engine is slated to cease by the end of summer. Thus, the Batur Convertible represents one of the final opportunities to own a new Bentley featuring this powerful powertrain.

Design Innovation

The design of the Batur Convertible has provided Mulliner’s designers with a canvas to explore new creative avenues. The vehicle seamlessly blends design elements from the Bacalar and the Batur with the distinctive features of a cabriolet.

The enveloping cockpit, inspired by the Bacalar’s design, and the dramatic “airbridge” behind the seats evoke memories of classic sports barchetta cars, promising a dynamic and immersive driving experience.

Each Batur Convertible is a bespoke masterpiece, personalized in collaboration with the owner through a dedicated Mulliner visualizer. This process allows for the selection of colors, materials, and finishes for every aspect of the car, rendering each vehicle a unique piece reflecting the owner’s personality and taste. From exterior paint colors to exclusive interior finishes, the customization possibilities are endless.

Exquisite Craftsmanship

Inside the cabin, the exclusive 3D-printed rose gold option can adorn the Bentley Drive Mode Selector surrounding the start/stop button, used to switch chassis modes. In the heart of the refined interior, the dashboard integrates the design of the front grille.

Rose gold can also be applied to Bentley’s iconic Organ Stop ventilation controls on the dashboard, as well as to a rose gold-inserted indicator on the steering wheel. To create these unique pieces, Bentley Mulliner collaborated with expert goldsmiths from Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, where jewelry has been crafted for centuries.

Performance and Style

In terms of performance, the Batur Convertible shines not only for its design but also for its technical capabilities. The W12 engine has been enhanced with a revised intake system, upgraded turbochargers, and extended recalibration, resulting in 750 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque.

The Vermillion Gloss on Vermillion Satin Duo tone is a special paint finish created to complement the car’s modern lines with a vibrant color. The body is accentuated by glossy carbon fiber front splitters, side skirts, and rear diffuser.

The vehicle’s front fascia features a grille with a particularly intricate design, characterized by the main matrix finished in glossy Dark Titanium, accentuated by contrasting chevrons in a horizontal ombré pattern transitioning from Beluga in the center to Vermillion Gloss on the sides. The long hood line is finished in glossy Dark Titanium, as are the 22″ wheels with Gloss and Satin Black Titanium spokes with Vermillion Gloss accents.
