Lynk & Co, the innovative automotive brand, has officially introduced its first electric flagship vehicle, the Lynk & Co Z10, pronounced “Z-one-two”. The global debut took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, marking a significant milestone for the brand.
Previously known as the Lynk & Co Zero, the Z10 is the first electric vehicle of the brand and is set to make waves with its impressive design and advanced technology.
Design and Aesthetic
The Lynk & Co Z10’s design draws inspiration from the concept car “The Next Day” and shares a visual language with its siblings, the Lynk & Co 07 and the Zeekr 007.
Measuring over 5 meters in length, the Z10 presents a commanding presence. Its front fascia is distinguished by separate headlights, with long LED daytime running lights on the hood and main optical groups concealed within the bumper.
The car’s profile is sleek and dynamic, featuring hidden door handles and frameless windows. At the rear, the Z10 boasts a continuous strip of thin tail lights, echoing the design elements of the Lynk & Co 07.
The vehicle achieves a remarkable drag coefficient of just 0.198, thanks to the efforts of a design team comprising over 100 designers from more than 20 countries.
Advanced Engineering and Performance
Built on Geely’s SEA platform, the Lynk & Co Z10 features an 800-volt architecture and a high-strength battery with a grid-like anti-collision structure capable of withstanding impact forces up to 65 tons. This robust engineering contributes to an impressive range of over 800 kilometers on a single charge. Additionally, the Z10 can recharge 573 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes, utilizing technology akin to that found in the Lotus Emeya.
The vehicle is powered by dual silicon carbide motors, enabling a swift acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The chassis is constructed with 84.65% high-strength steel and aluminum, achieving a torsional rigidity of 45,000 Nm/deg. The Z10 is equipped with double-chamber air suspension and electromagnetic suspension systems, ensuring superior ride comfort.
Interior Luxury and Technology
Inside, the Lynk & Co Z10 exudes luxury and modernity. The centerpiece is a floating 15.4-inch central touch screen, complemented by a high-definition head-up display and a flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel. The minimalist console and elegantly finished interiors enhance the sense of sophistication.
The infotainment system is powered by Flyme Auto OS, developed by Meizu and previously seen in the Lynk & Co 08 and other recent models. This system operates on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, offering a seamless and intuitive user experience.
