The new Voyah Courage debuts at 2024 edition of the Turin Auto Show, in Italy.

In the heart of the former Italian capital City, along Via Roma, Dongfeng will debut the Voyah Courage SUV in a global premiere, together with the Dongfeng Nammi city car in its European debut.

Dongfeng’s participation in this prestigious event comes on the heels of its earlier announcement to expand its commercial operations in Europe. The 2024 Turin Auto Show will serve as a launchpad for the brand’s ambitious foray into the European market, with Voyah Courage and Dongfeng Nammi leading the charge.

In addition to these flagship models, visitors will also witness the full lineup, which includes Voyah Free, M-Hero, and a range of other Dongfeng vehicles like Huge, Mage, and Shine.

The European market challenge

Despite Dongfeng’s exciting offerings, the European market presents significant challenges, particularly for electric vehicles. The brand will have to navigate both competitive pressures and the current economic conditions. Dongfeng also faces steep import tariffs imposed by the European Commission, set at 21.3%, which could influence its pricing strategy in Europe. However, Dongfeng aims to counter these hurdles with its wide range of models and attractive pricing.

Voyah Courage in a brief

At the forefront of Dongfeng’s showcase is the Voyah Courage, an SUV that enters the premium market. Its dimensions place it in the D-segment, with a wheelbase of 2.90 meters and a total length of 4.72 meters, offering substantial interior space. While the exterior design might not be groundbreaking, it strikes a balance of elegance and practicality.

Notably, the Courage also features an 800-volt electrical architecture, enabling rapid recharging and the ability to power external devices up to 6 kW.
