Tesla continues to lead the way in the electric vehicle market with the refreshed Model 3 Long Range.

This latest update brings a rear-wheel drive version that, despite its 60 kWh battery, can travel an impressive 702 kilometers on a single charge according to the WLTP cycle, marking it as the longest-range Model 3 ever produced.

Here the prices in Scandinavia for this new variant:

Unmatched efficiency

The extended range is made possible by exceptionally low energy consumption, with Tesla reporting an average of just 12.5 kWh per 100 kilometers. This figure puts the Model 3 Long Range on par with direct competitors like the Polestar 2 and slightly above the Hyundai Ioniq 6, which belongs to a larger segment.

The Model 3’s sedan body style plays a key role in this efficiency, offering a lighter and more aerodynamic alternative to the heavier SUV designs prevalent in the market.

Performance and features

In terms of performance, the new Model 3 Long Range offers a top speed of 201 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. These figures highlight the balance Tesla has struck between range and driving enjoyment. Beyond that, the car retains the sleek design and upgraded interior that were introduced in last year’s refresh.

Standard features include Pearl White Multi-Coat paint, 18-inch Photon wheels, black leather interior, and Tesla’s Autopilot system with lane correction and Adaptive Cruise Control. For those seeking additional customization, there are options for different paint colors, 19-inch Nova wheels, white interiors, and advanced Autopilot features.
