Aitekx RoboTruck is the first vehicle, currently a prototype, from a new electric vehicle startup debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show in collaboration with Toyota and Subaru. It’s a response, or better to say a clone, of the Tesla Cybertruck with many interesting elements, perhaps more than the model it draws inspiration from.

Aitekx describes itself as “an innovative AI e-mobility company brings you to the feasible and conceivable future,” aiming for “AI clean energy vehicles and mobility robotics development and manufacturing with its AI optimized productization technology.

Details of Aitekx RoboTruck

The first prototype is the RoboTruck 1T, a wedge-shaped pickup that bears a strong resemblance to the Tesla Cybertruck. The model features sculpted bodywork, stylish lighting units, and a compact cabin. Massive wheels and what appears to be an Avalanche-like midgate are also noticeable.

The company states that the pickup is between 4.7 and 5 meters in length, with a bed of 1.8 meters. However, it seems that the midgate will allow the vehicle to transport items up to 2.8 meters long with the tailgate closed. With the midgate down and the tailgate open, the RoboTruck can apparently haul items up to an impressive 3.5 meters.

Aitekx envisions single and crew cab configurations as well as models with rear- and all-wheel drive. The latter will have a dual-motor setup, and there seems to be a high-performance variant. There aren’t many details available, except that the 0-100 acceleration will occur in just over 3.5 seconds, and the range will reach 885 km.

The price starts at $45,000 and goes up to $99,000 for the RoboTruck 1T HyperAIX Sports Signature AWD. The company also suggests that the model will be offered with options such as “hawk wing doors,” off-road packages, a power bed cover, and a four to six-seat interior. Reservations are already open with a $100 deposit.

There’s also an SUV

However, the company has no intention of stopping at the pickup.

This time, the inspiration is Rivian, because on the same pickup base, the RoboTruck 1V is expected to emerge, an SUV with 3 rows for 7-8 passengers or 2 rows and a spacious trunk
