Introducing the DS N°8, the latest electric flagship from DS Automobiles, which sets the tone for the French automaker’s future lineup in both style and nomenclature. Built on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform, the DS N°8 will roll out of the Melfi production facility and hit roads in the latter half of 2025.

With a starting price of approximately €65,000 (DKK 484,705), it boasts a long-range version offering up to 750 km of declared autonomy.

A new idea of electric flagship

Breaking away from conventional designs, the DS N°8 evolves the SUV-Coupé concept by blending the sleek lines of a fastback with the elevated stance of a crossover.

Measuring 4.82 meters in length, 1.90 meters in width, and 1.58 meters in height, its stretched and dynamic silhouette is accentuated by a low roofline seamlessly flowing into a subtle rear spoiler. Ground clearance is kept at 15.5 cm, optimizing efficiency while preserving the commanding driving position. Practicality isn’t overlooked, with a generous 620-liter boot capacity.

The DS N°8 pushes boundaries with its bold design and cutting-edge features. The front grille, named DS Luminascreen, integrates illuminated LED elements with a backlit logo, drawing inspiration from the 2020 DS Aero Sport Lounge concept. Vertical LED lighting flanks the bumper, and the striking rear light design continues this motif, enhancing the car’s visual identity.

Up to 750 km range

Exclusively electric, the DS N°8 offers two battery options—72 kWh and 97.2 kWh net capacity. The standard range delivers 572 km, while the long-range version achieves an impressive 750 km. Powertrain options include a front-wheel-drive, single-motor variant with up to 245 hp and 345 Nm of torque, and a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive version producing 350 hp and 511 Nm of torque.

Both versions are capped at a top speed of 190 km/h, with energy consumption figures of 12.9 kWh/100 km for the two-wheel-drive and 14.2 kWh/100 km for the AWD model. Even in highway conditions, the DS N°8 promises over 500 km of range.
