We attended the latest edition of eCar Expo, in a rainy Copenhagen that still attracted a full house of visitors. Many participating brands, and many electric cars that caught our attention.

So, without further ado, here are our favorites at the Danish-Swedish event.

Polestar Roadster Concept

Okay, it’s not the newest novelty. But seeing it stand out at the grand, gleaming white booth of the Swedish brand is quite a sight.

Initially known as the Polestar O2 (yes, oxygen), this concept car with its massive headlights and the blue of the sky previews the upcoming Polestar 6, expected in 2025 – and we can’t wait.

Cupra Tavascan

A Scandinavian premiere for the Cupra Tavascan, the second electric model from the Spanish brand after the Born. We expect great things from it.

With 340 HP, making it more powerful than even Volkswagen’s electric offerings, and a wild design with a recognizable aesthetic. It’s capturing our hearts.

New MINI

The new MINI is more surprising in person than in photos. Slightly larger and more squared-off in shape compared to the past, but the identity is still there.

The best part? The interior, greatly improved in finishes and materials, with the large circular display at the center taking center stage.

Volkswagen ID.7

Finally, an ID model that impresses: elegant in its design, with a range of up to 700 km.

In short, who said the era of sedans was over? On the contrary, it seems that electric cars, more efficient when lighter, will give them new dignity.

Fisker Ocean

In reality, it’s been around for a while, but the Fisker Ocean is finally arriving in Denmark and the rest of the Scandinavian countries.

Scandinavian in origin (Henrik Fisker was born in Denmark) and American in concept, this compact SUV manages to stand out with its 707 km of range thanks to a new platform. Perhaps this time is the charm for the unlucky Danish-American entrepreneur?

Nio ET5

Nio’s conquest of the Scandinavian countries is evident from the fact that it has long operated exclusively here.

But the ET5T (where T stands for Touring, one of the most interesting wagons) proves it can do a lot. Specifically designed for us, it’s a sleek, premium, and very elegant wagon. Always with the swapping battery, which might gain more ground with it.

Renault Scenic E-Tech

Renaulution: Chapter 2. The Scenic returns as an electric crossover, very beautiful and full of design: if you find any resemblance to Peugeot, it’s because the new cars from Rafale to the restyled Clio to the Scenic are the work of Gilles Vidal, who left the Lion for the Diamond.

Besides that, the car is groundbreaking, with Android Automotive serving as the operating system and a range of up to 600 km. An extra mile.

Kia EV9

Kia has been fond of 7-seat configurations since the time of the Sorento, but with the EV9, they’ve shown just how cool it can be.

We know the platform, it’s the E-GMP of the EV6 and its Hyundai cousins (as well as the EV3, EV4, and EV5). But the rest is entirely new, with internal quality and a truly distinctive design.

New Tesla Model 3

Do we need introductions for the Model 3, a queen everywhere?

No, but let us say that the restyling finally makes it beautiful, as well as popular. Especially at the front, more elegant and refined. Just like its interiors.

New Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe goes from practical to practical and stylish! A truly beautiful design, which takes inspiration from the Ioniq 5 philosophy, combining vintage and tech.

A successful mix that focuses on space and luxury finishes inside this gigantic 7-seat hybrid SUV with a huge trunk.
