For now, the Xingyuan is slated for the Chinese market under the Geome brand, which was previously known as Geometry. However, with Geely’s plans to bring its vehicles to Europe, the Xingyuan could be one of the first to make the leap, competing not only with the Dolphin but also with other compact EVs like the Stellantis’ Leapmotor T03. These competitors share similar dimensions, moderate power output, and an impressive range of around 400 km.

In China, the Geome Xingyuan will be priced at approximately 80,000 yuan, which is around 9,000 €.

Features and Design of the Geome Xingyuan

Official images of the Geome Xingyuan showcase a design that aligns with the latest trends of the brand, featuring soft, rounded lines, raindrop-shaped headlights, flush door handles, oval taillights, and a small spoiler at the rear. The car also sports intricately designed four-spoke wheels and reinforced plastic elements along the body, giving it a slight SUV-like appeal.

Inside, the Xingyuan boasts a dashboard and door panels adorned with LED decorations that mimic a city skyline—a design detail also seen in the Zeekr X. The car’s interior tech includes a two-spoke, D-shaped steering wheel, a small LCD instrument cluster, and a large, centrally mounted touchscreen.

The center console is equipped with a wireless charging pad, a small gear selector, cup holders, and a modestly sized storage compartment, all of which contribute to a practical and user-friendly cabin.

Advanced Infotainment and Performance

Much like Lynk & Co models tailored for the Chinese market, the Xingyuan’s infotainment system is powered by Meizu’s Flyme Auto OS. This operating system, developed by the smartphone manufacturer that Geely acquired two years ago, offers advanced integration with Meizu devices, support for gaming, and a built-in AI assistant, making the driving experience more connected and entertaining.

Under the hood, the Geome Xingyuan is equipped with an 11-in-1 electric drive system. The base model features a GLB Power electric motor that delivers 78 HP, enabling a top speed of 125 km/h. The more powerful variant comes with a 114-HPmotor, also from GLB Power, with a top speed of 135 km/h. The Xingyuan is available with two LFP battery options from CATL. The first is a 30.12 kWh battery that provides a range of 310 km according to the CLTC cycle, while the second, larger 40.16 kWh battery extends the range to 410 km.
