Hyundai has announced a new collaboration with Gameloft’s popular racing game, Asphalt Legends Unite, bringing its high-performance models, Ioniq 5 N and N Vision 74, to the digital racing tracks, after having done the same on Forza Horizon 5 last year.

Available across multiple platforms, including consoles, PC, and mobile, Asphalt Legends Unite has become an award-winning title with global popularity. This game allows players to experience thrilling races while showcasing real-world cars, now including Hyundai’s latest high-performance models, such as the Ioniq 5 N (here our test drive) and the N Vision 74. These additions will be featured in the game’s update, launched on April 2, 2024, as part of Hyundai’s ongoing efforts to build stronger relationships with younger drivers and tech enthusiasts.

The new event with the Hyundai’s beasts

The four-week in-game event, running from April 3 to April 30, 2024, invites players to race Hyundai’s latest electric and hydrogen fuel-cell models. The fastest players during the event will be honored with a trip to South Korea, where they will explore the bustling city of Seoul, visit Hyundai brand spaces, and even test drive the Ioniq 5 N. The lucky winners will also have the chance to attend the N Festival 2025, South Korea’s largest one-make race, further elevating Hyundai’s immersive connection with racing fans worldwide.

Hyundai’s foray into gaming follows previous successful initiatives like Hyundai Future Adventure on Roblox and Timeless Seoul on Zepeto, which aimed to engage younger audiences in virtual environments. The company is also collaborating with popular global gaming influencers on Twitch and YouTube, who will be driving Hyundai’s high-performance vehicles in live gameplay and exclusive content, amplifying the company’s digital presence.

The Asphalt Legends Unite update, featuring cross-device play and high-quality graphics, will further extend Hyundai’s reach into the gaming community. With the game’s diverse platforms and captivating gameplay, Hyundai aims to strengthen its brand recognition and increase product exposure among Generation Z and Alpha, who are passionate about gaming.
