Its debut is not expected before 2026, but the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N has already been spotted at the Nürburgring, as shown in a video published by Car Spy Media.
The second electric model from the Korean brand’s sports division, the Ioniq 6 N aims to outperform the Ioniq 5 N, which has already been well-received by enthusiasts thanks to solid engineering and an enjoyable driving experience. It promises to improve thanks to its streamlined body, which offers more range and better road handling.
When will the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N be released?
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is expected to debut either during or at the end of 2025, coinciding with the update of the entire electric lineup. The car is camouflaged, but you can make out the split headlight units, which are currently absent from the standard Ioniq 6. Additionally, there are larger air intakes and a fairly large rear spoiler, similar to that of the RN22e concept car.
The mechanics are expected to be the same as the Ioniq 5 N (here our test drive): two electric motors with all-wheel drive and 641 HP, but with superior performance and handling thanks to the lower center of gravity. The range should also be better than the Ioniq 5 N’s 355 km, due to the lower aerodynamic drag. However, these are speculations, and since the Ioniq 6 is the flagship, it’s likely that its sportier version could be even more powerful than the Ioniq 5 N.
Other features would include 740 Nm of torque and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds.
