The old SsangYong Actyon might not evoke the best memories. It was an SUV-Coupé ahead of its time, with a very distinctive design back then. Unfortunately, it never became a success for SsangYong in Europe. But now the reborn brand returns with the KGM Actyon.

A New Beginning with KG Mobility

However, the company is trying again with a new Actyon under the new name KG Mobility. KG Mobility is expanding its lineup with the next model Actyon, which is based on the new Torres platform.

Earlier this year, KG Mobility presented a concept car called the J120 concept. Now, we see the final product. Compared to Torres, the new Actyon has a sleeker appearance, somewhat reminiscent of a smaller Range Rover Sport (or a Velar) in its design—a far cry from the old version, fortunately.

Actyon as an ev?

KG Mobility has yet to release any information about its dimensions or powertrain. However, it is expected to be longer than the Torres, providing better legroom for the rear passengers.

The powertrain is expected to include the same 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 170 hp and 280 Nm. Later, an electric Actyon EVX is also anticipated to join the lineup, featuring the same 73 kWh battery and 204 hp as the Torres EVX.

As the year progresses, we eagerly anticipate more information about the new KG Actyon. Details about its dimensions, features, and full specifications are expected to be released by the end of this year. With KG Mobility’s commitment to innovation and design, we look forward to seeing how the new Actyon will redefine expectations in the SUV market.
