Announced in recent days, the Lynk & Co 08 officially debuts in the European markets where the brand operates, as the third model following the 01, available since 2021, and the 02 (here’s our review), the first electric model introduced in fall 2025 and available from January 2025.
The vehicle is already listed on the official website, and test drive reservations are open. However, deliveries will begin in June 2025, with prices starting at €52,995 in Euro Area and from SEK 549,995 in Sweden, the only Scandinavian market where Lynk & Co is available.
This model is part of Lynk & Co’s new strategy, following its transition from being owned by Volvo and Geely to Zeekr Group, shifting towards a more traditional sales model in Europe compared to its initial subscription-based approach centered around a single vehicle.
Lynk & Co 08: the “most electric” plug-in on the market
For more details on the design, we invite you to read the dedicated article. The car introduces the brand to the D-SUV segment at a below-average price, especially considering its technical and technological offerings.

It is built on the CMA Evo platform, the same used by the Volvo XC40 and Polestar 2, but highly modified to support its advanced hybrid system. In terms of styling, it incorporates design cues introduced with the concept car The Next Day, which have also been seen on the 02 and Zeekr X.

Beyond its modern and distinctly recognizable design, the Lynk & Co 08 focuses on an extremely advanced plug-in hybrid system. It is currently the only model in its category promising 200 km of electric-only range (WLTP cycle), allowing for daily zero-emission driving with less frequent charging.

Additionally, the car supports fast charging, reaching 10-80% in just 30 minutes, enabling quick recharges at highway rest stops and reducing travel costs and overall consumption. With a total range of 1,100 km, we look forward to testing it soon to evaluate its real-world performance.
Availability and Pricing
The Lynk & Co 08 will be available in two versions, Core and More, and will launch in the European market starting in June 2025. Customers can purchase the vehicle from official retailers, the brand’s website, or at Lynk & Co Clubs across Europe—Sweden currently has locations in Stockholm and Göteborg.
The starting price in Sweden is set at 549,995 SEK. While Zeekr already entred Norway and will do the same in Denmark by the end of 2025, we don’t have any information about an expansion of the brand in the rest of Scandinavia.
From February 26, 2025, online registration will open for updates and test drive reservations through the official website.
