The Geely brand unveiled the new edition of the Polestar Arctic Circle collection, introducing unique Arctic Circle versions of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 (Polestar 2 AC was already available).
Building on the success of the Polestar 2 Arctic Circle from 2022, these rally-inspired models showcase Polestar’s performance DNA and Scandinavian design heritage.
The three vehicles will make their public debut at the FAT Ice Race 2025 in Zell am See, Austria, on February 1.
A tribute to Polestar’s Motorsport roots
As we know, Polestar was the motorsport division of Volvo, born in 90s and deeply rooted in motorsport and has been refined under the extreme Arctic conditions of northern Sweden.
Led by Joakim Rydholm, Polestar’s Head of Driving Dynamics, the brand takes inspiration from rally racing to ensure every vehicle in its lineup delivers an engaging driving experience. Rydholm, a seasoned rally driver with multiple podium finishes and over 30 years in motorsports, played a key role in adapting the Arctic Circle formula for the new SUVs.
Built at Polestar’s R&D facilities in Sweden, the Arctic Circle models feature increased ride heights, custom-designed 3-way adjustable Öhlins dampers, spiked Pirelli tires, OZ Racing wheels, Stedi Quad Evo LED headlights, and Recaro bucket seats for a rally-inspired feel.
Each vehicle also comes equipped with ski racks, roof bars, storage solutions, and recovery gear, reinforcing Polestar’s strong partnerships in the outdoor and motorsport sectors.
