Renault has unveiled the latest addition to its hybrid vehicle lineup, the Renault Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 CV. This plug-in hybrid powerhouse combines advanced technology with remarkable performance, featuring a 22 kWh battery that offers up to 100 km of electric-only driving and a combined range of up to 1,000 km.
High-Performance Hybrid System
The Renault Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 CV is built on the foundation of the E-Tech Hybrid 200 CV engine, augmented with an additional electric motor on the rear axle to boost its total output to 300 CV. This hybrid system ensures outstanding performance with all-wheel drive capability.
The vehicle’s fuel consumption is impressively efficient, rated at 0.7 liters per 100 km with a fully charged battery and 5.8 liters per 100 km with the battery depleted.
Engine and Motor Specifications
The Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 CV features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged internal combustion engine producing 150 CV and 230 Nm of torque. Complementing this are three electric motors: a 70 CV motor on the front axle, a 136 CV motor on the rear axle, and a secondary 34 CV motor of HSG type.
This configuration enables the Rafale to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 135 km/h in electric mode.
Battery and Charging
Equipped with a 22 kWh/400V lithium-ion battery, the Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 CV can travel up to 100 km purely on electric power. A full charge of the battery takes approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes when using the maximum charging power of 7.4 kW (32A).
The intelligent all-wheel-drive system ensures optimal torque distribution between the front and rear wheels, providing enhanced safety and stability under various driving conditions.
Alpine-Inspired Design and Technology
The Atelier Alpine edition of the Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 CV stands out with its distinctive Blue Deepsky Satin paint, floating spoiler in Black Etoilé, and 21-inch “Chicane” wheels fitted with Continental tires (20-inch wheels for the Esprit Alpine trim).
The interior pays homage to the Alpine brand, featuring iconic blue carpeting. This edition also boasts an innovative active suspension system with predictive camera technology, continuously adjusting the dampers based on road conditions and obstacles.

The Rafale E-Tech 4×4 300 CV is packed with cutting-edge features, including the 4Control Advanced system with rear-wheel steering and predictive hybrid driving.
