As discussed at 2025 EVision (NordiskBil were Media Partner), the electrification of heavy transport isn’t so easy, with one of the primary obstacles being the lack of a comprehensive European charging infrastructure. Addressing this critical issue, the Danish charging platform Spirii and European service platform Travis have announced a strategic partnership to provide an all-in-one charging solution for transport companies.
Founded in 2019 and now part of Edenred, Spirii operates in 22 markets with offices in Copenhagen (hometown), Barcelona, Hamburg, Nice, and London. Thanks to the work of 150 professionals, Spirii delivers a leading charge point management system and customized solutions for fleets, businesses, and charge point operators. Its charging app provides access to a vast roaming network of nearly 600,000 charge points across Europe, catering to industries such as logistics, real estate, retail, and utilities.
Travis is a premier service platform for the heavy transport sector, offering a seamless booking system for essential truck services at thousands of locations across Europe. Its integration with Spirii marks a major step toward a more sustainable future for heavy transport.
A collaboration for HDVs
Travis currently operates as Europe’s leading service platform for truck-related services, allowing transport companies to locate, book, and pay for essential services at over 2,500 locations, including parking, truck washing, and charging. Through its new partnership with Spirii, Travis will now expand its offerings by integrating a seamless charging solution tailored for heavy-duty electric vehicles.

With Spirii’s advanced platform services, transport companies will have access to a robust and scalable charging infrastructure, while Travis will facilitate easy location and booking of charging stations via its platform. Additionally, Spirii will manage billing and administration, ensuring a smooth and transparent process for businesses looking to invest in charging infrastructure.
This partnership is set to extend across Europe, providing a significant boost to the adoption of electric heavy vehicles. By combining Travis’ extensive network with Spirii’s cutting-edge charging technology, the initiative aims to create a more accessible, reliable, and efficient charging ecosystem.
