Volkswagen has officially unveiled the Volkswagen ID.EVERY1, a new entry-level electric vehicle designed to make zero-emission mobility accessible to a broader audience. Set to launch in 2027 at an estimated price of €20,000 (150,000 DKK), this compact EV aims to revolutionize the market by combining affordability with cutting-edge technology, but with a range under expectations and many competitors.

An electric car for everyone

Since the days of the iconic Beetle, Volkswagen has focused on producing compact and affordable vehicles. The Volkswagen ID.EVERY1 continues this legacy, bringing the brand’s philosophy into the era of electrification. The model is part of Volkswagen’s Electric Urban Car Family, a lineup specifically developed to provide efficient and practical mobility solutions for urban environments.

Built in Europe for the European market, the ID. EVERY1 will utilize Volkswagen’s modular MEB platform with a front-wheel-drive configuration—similar to the ID.2all and the ID. GTI Concept. This architecture ensures optimal space utilization and high efficiency, making the vehicle both practical and cost-effective.

EVERY1 not just a car, but a long-term, adaptable mobility solution.
