Produced by Electric House, or EV House, the Yue 01 is a new proposition in the rich market of small Chinese electric cars designed for urban use, targeting young people and women.
It is also one of the most affordable: it costs 59,800 yuan, which is less than €8,000 (59.667 DKK)
All about Yue 01
The Yue 01 is the second vehicle launched by Electric House, following the success of the Young Guangxiaoxin mini EV in 2021. This new mini electric car is available in six variants and offers two driving range options: 251 km and 335 km.
However, a top-of-the-line version with a range of 408 km will also be available, all according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.
Positioned as a 5-door, 4-seat mini EV, the Yue 01 has compact dimensions of 3.7 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.4 meters, making it significantly smaller than the Wuling Bingo. Aesthetically, the car features 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a two-tone exterior design.
The interior of the Yue 01 follows a minimalist style, with a color combination that complements the exterior design. The cockpit is dominated by a 10.1-inch central screen, a 7-inch LCD cluster, a flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel, and round air vents. The center console is equipped with a rotary gear knob, a base for wireless charging, and two cup holders.
Powertrain
The flagship model offers advanced features such as keyless entry, remote start, remote control, over-the-air updates (OTA), voice recognition, and advanced driving assistance capabilities, including adaptive cruise control and autonomous parking, thanks to two ultrasonic radar sensors.
The entire range is powered by a front electric motor that delivers 35 kW or 48 horsepower and 125 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 100 km/h.
There are two versions of LFP batteries, the first with a 24 kWh capacity and a range of 251 km, and the second with a 32.5 kWh capacity and a range of 335 km, for low consumption of up to 10.3 kWh per 100 km. Charging is also fast, requiring 30 minutes for a 30-80% charge.
