According to Chinese sources like Weibo, Geely has initiated pre-production of the Zeekr 007 Wagon, a family-oriented variant of the already stunning Zeekr 007, the flagship sedan of the Chinese brand.
Zeekr, which is currently enjoying significant success and is perhaps Geely’s fastest-growing brand, is experiencing a year of significant expansion with many new models. The 007 sedan has just been unveiled, followed by the Zeekr MIX, the brand’s first MPV minivan, and the new crossover Zeekr Ark, about which little is known.
For this reason, the 007 Wagon might not make an appearance until late 2024, but it is a model designed for Europe, aiming to compete with the Nio ET5 Touring and the Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer.
Zeekr 007 Wagon: More Space, Same Luxury
Designed in Sweden, in Gothenburg and the Geely Design Centre, with the signature of Stefan Sielaff (known for his work with Audi and Bentley), the Zeekr 007 Wagon will naturally share the same characteristics as the sedan version.
Taking into account the current lineup, we can expect front seats with up to 14-way adjustment, ventilation, and massage functions, heated rear seats, a 15-inch OLED central display coupled with a 35.5-inch augmented reality head-up display, and a premium 21-speaker audio system, all powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip.
The technical specifications will also remain the same. The Zeekr 007 boasts a maximum total power output of 645 horsepower, with an impressive range of 870 km with the 100 kWh NMC battery variant. The entry-level model features a Golden 75 kWh LFP battery produced in-house by Zeekr.
As evidenced by the highly successful rendering images we see, the Zeekr 007 Wagon will differ at the rear, with a higher roof and increased luggage capacity, providing more headroom for occupants. Additionally, it will feature external roof rack accessories, indicating its nature as a traveler’s companion.
