Grown so much, and so quickly, that it absorbed its parent brand Lynk & Co and created a group, Zeekr is now particularly focused on European expansion. Following the 001 (test drive here), X (test drive here), and the new 7X unveiled in Oslo (preview here), the Zeekr 7 GT will be the next model for Europe, essentially the continent’s version of the 007 GT.
The 7 GT is the brand’s first station wagon, aimed at competing with the Nio ET5 Touring, BMW i5 Touring, and Audi A6 Avant e-tron. It will also be the model Zeekr uses to launch commercial operations in Denmark, marking the fourth European market after the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway, as COO Lothar Schupet told us.
Zeekr 7 GT and its 700 km Range
One of the most impressive aspects of the Zeekr 7 GT is its range. In China, the car promises an impressive 825 km according to the CLTC cycle, a figure that could translate to around 700 km WLTP in Europe (official testing has not yet been completed).

The vehicle is built on Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, specifically in its PMA+ variant, like the Zeekr 7X. This platform is the same one used across the brand’s entire lineup, as well as on the Polestar 4 (read our Rivalz-test: Zeekr 001 vs Polestar 4), Lynk & Co 02, and Volvo EX30. However, the 7 GT will be the first station wagon to use this architecture.
The Zeekr 7 GT will be available in different configurations:
- Single-motor version: 421 hp, rear-wheel drive
- Dual-motor version: 646 hp, all-wheel drive, 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.5 seconds
These performance figures put the 7 GT in direct competition with models like the Tesla Model 3 Performance and the BYD Seal.
Digital Luxury
Zeekr has stated that it aims to create a luxurious and sophisticated vehicle, drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design (as with all Zeekr models, it was designed and engineered in Sweden). The interior features premium materials and a high-tech experience, centered around a large 15.05-inch OLED display serving as the main infotainment system. Additionally, a 35.5-inch AR head-up display projects key driving information directly into the driver’s field of vision.

Another key strength of the Zeekr 7 GT is its ultra-fast 800V charging capability, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes using the Golden Battery system. Zeekr is already a leader in Europe in this regard, with the 7X currently being the fastest-charging electric vehicle on the European market. These innovations have helped Geely surpass BYD as the most preferred car manufacturer in China.
