Unveiled in the spring of 2024, the Zeekr MIX is one of three new models launched by the premium Chinese brand Zeekr, part of the Geely Group, following the Zeekr 007 and Zeekr 7X. What sets the MIX apart is its revolutionary interior design, making it a compact MPV that Zeekr describes as an intelligent living room on wheels.
Zeekr MIX and the new SEA-M Platform
The Zeekr MIX is the first family vehicle built on the SEA-M platform, reimagining the concept of everyday mobility. It combines a sleek, capsule-like exterior with an innovative layout that maximizes interior space, evoking the warmth and comfort of a home living room.
Thanks to the SEA-M platform, the Zeekr MIX offers a surprisingly spacious interior within its compact dimensions, boasting a 3-meter wheelbase and a total length of 4.6 meters.
Inside, the front seats can swivel up to 270 degrees, and with an impressive cabin height of 1350 mm and a movable central console, the MIX is one of the most versatile interiors ever designed. It can easily transform into a lounge for playing cards with friends, a peaceful spot for fishing, or even a private yoga studio.
Innovative design and agile performance
One of the standout features of the Zeekr MIX is its double sliding doors, which provide an entrance 1.48 meters wide. Combined with a 390 mm low floor height, it offers effortless access, especially for small children and the elderly.
Additionally, with its advanced suspension design and optimized damper structure, the front wheels of the Zeekr MIX can rotate more than 50 degrees, allowing for a turning radius of less than 5 meters.
This makes the vehicle incredibly agile, easily performing U-turns at any four-lane intersection.
Safety and 800V architecture
Despite the absence of traditional B-pillars, the safety of the Zeekr MIX is enhanced, thanks to its hidden dual B-pillar design. Two ultra-high-strength steel pillars are integrated into each door, providing a structure made from 2000 MPa hot-formed steel, which is 30% stronger than conventional materials.
The vehicle’s rear body is made from a single die-cast structure, the same material used in the Zeekr 009, further increasing its overall durability.
Advanced Battery Technology
The Zeekr MIX features an advanced 800V system and offers two battery options to suit different driving needs. Customers can choose between a 76 kWh LFP battery with a range of 550 km (CLTC) or a 102 kWh NMC battery providing over 700 km of range.
Zeekr’s LFP batteries also support ultra-fast 5.5C charging, allowing the vehicle to charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes, making it ideal for those seeking fast and convenient recharging options.
