Although we don’t see much of Geely’s brand Zeekr in Europe, they still have plans to introduce more cars for the European market.

We may have three models on the way to our European roads: the new Tesla Model Y competitor, the 7X; a small MPV similar to the Volkswagen ID. Buzz; and their 007 sedan! Want to know more? Read our test drives of Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, the 2 cars already available in Sweden and the Netherlands!

Zeekr MIX – An MPV Like No Other

Meet the MIX, a compact MPV designed to compete with the VW ID.Buzz. Built on the same platform as the 001, which is common to all the vehicles we’re looking at today, the MIX stands out.

Unlike the larger Zeekr 009, which will only be sold in China, the MIX has a wheelbase of 3008 mm, making it somewhat smaller than the aforementioned 009. The MIX is expected to feature a 100 kWh battery to compete effectively with the ID. Buzz.

Other features include a large panoramic sunroof and self-opening doors instead of traditional door handles. The Zeekr MIX will also be available in two different seating configurations: the conventional 5-seater and a 3+3 6-seater version.

Zeekr’s top of the line 007 sedan.

The name 007 might sound like a car for none other than James Bond, but this model is unlikely to be used by the famous Agent 007.

The 007 is simply the sedan version of the 001 and is set to compete against the NIO eT5, Mercedes EQE, and other premium electric cars in that class. Essentially, one could call the 007 a luxury edition of the Polestar 2, (althought the 2 cars have different platforms) as both cars are technically similar, yet different, with the 007 offering a more comfortable ride thanks to its optional air suspension.

The 007 is nearly five meters long and will be available in either a 75 kWh version with 272 hp (rear-wheel drive) or a performance version with a larger 100 kWh battery, delivering 544 hp and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds (AWD). The most interesting feature of the 007 is its ability to fully charge in just 15 minutes, thanks to its class-leading 800V architecture.

Introducing the new 7X – A New Competitor to the Model Y and Xpeng G6

Finally, there is the 7X, a car we will likely get to know very soon. The 7X can best be described as a competitor to the Model Y or Xpeng G6.

The 7X also uses the same platform as the other two cars (PMA2+ platform). It will likely come with the same two electric motors with either 75 kWh or 100 kWh and the same 800V architecture, meaning it will charge faster than Xpeng and Tesla. However, the 7X is shorter than the 007 and MIX, with a wheelbase length of under 3 meters.

Geely’s Zeekr brand is set to make a significant impact on the European market by introducing a lineup of innovative and competitive electric vehicles. With the 007 sedan offering luxury and high performance, challenging established premium models with its impressive specs and rapid charging capabilities, ZEEKR demonstrates a commitment to excellence.

The 7X emerges as a formidable competitor to the Tesla Model Y and Xpeng G6, promising versatility and advanced technology. Meanwhile, the MIX aims to redefine the MPV segment, directly challenging the VW ID.Buzz with its compact design, spacious interior. But that is IF they come to Europe….
